Bernhard passed away October 28, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 71. He was born May 21, 1948, in Stuttgart, Germany, the son of Stephan and Lotte Nagel Botscharow. He married Elizabeth Teichman on April 1, 1991, in Illinois and was an anthropology and sociology instructor. Bernhard lived in Mountain Home since moving from Berwin, Illinois in 1991. He was an avid gamer and enjoyed writing. Bernhard was an easy-going guy who loved to smoke his pipe.
Bernhard is survived by his wife Elizabeth and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
