Bertica died July 26, 2009 at her residence. She was born November 29, 1947, the daughter of Edilo and Helen Bistue Diaz. She was a waitress and lived in Mountain Home since 2007 moving from Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her companion, Ronald E. Kawell of Mountain Home, AR and loved ones, Dayna Ziomek, Ronald R. Kawell, Sr., Jennifer Kawell, Ronald R. Kawell, Jr. and Elizabeth Ziomek all of Mountain Home.
