Bertil "Bert" Josef Anderson

A Funeral Service for Bertil "Bert" Josef Anderson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until time of service.
Bert passed away January 18, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born October 15, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Hjalmar and Olivia Pearson Anderson. He married Constance Gaskin on July 15, 1956, at Chicago, Illinois and was the co-owner and operator of Dymond & Anderson Realty and Construction. Bert was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and lived in Mountain Home since 1987, moving from Hawthorn Woods, Illinois. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge #1007 in Illinois, Twin Lakes Golf Club and Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246. He was a avid fisherman.
Bert is survived by his daughter, Donna (Dale) Heinsohn of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Roy (Lois) Anderson of Ballwin, MO; two grandchildren, Brad (Kendall Palmertree) Heinsohn and Jeff Heinsohn of Mountain Home, AR; great-granddaughter, Kyler EmmaLee Heinsohn and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Constance and sister, Lillian Justus.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center, 620 Hospital Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
