A Celebration of Life Service for Bettie Jane King of Norfork, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Lone Rock Baptist Church, with Reverend Doug Huskey officiating.
Bettie passed away July 20, 2014, in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 68. She was born September 10, 1945, in Augusta, Oklahoma, the daughter of Claborn and Fay May Beard. She married Carl King in 1964 and worked as a housekeeper. Bettie lived in the Twin Lakes area most of her life. She was a member of the Lone Rock Baptist Church.
Bettie is survived by her sister, Deborah Hardman of Twin Lake, MI, sister, Wanda Lee Lackey of Norfork, AR, sister, Doris Duncan of Norfork, AR, brother, Loy Gene Beard of Norfork, AR, brother, David Allen Beard of Norfork, AR, brother, Ray Dean Beard of Bull Shoals, AR and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl King and brother, Rickie Beard.
Memorials may be made to a benefit for medical expenses set up at TLC Bank.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
