Betty Burdge

Betty Burdge died Monday, March 3, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 86. Betty Burdge was born Wednesday, June 1, 1921 in Jacksonville, Illinois, daughter of Allen C. and Sanie Emily Souza Fernandes. She married on April 9, 1939 at Bowling Green, Missouri. and was a homemaker. Betty lived in Mountain Home since 1981 moving from Pekin, Illinois. She was a member of member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, the American Rose Society, nationally accredited American Rose Society judge emeritus, and nationally accredited Garden Club judge emeritus. Survivors: Betty Burdge is survived by her nephew Mike McGrew and niece Jackie Suvaka. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral: Memorial services for Betty E Burdge of Mountain Home, AR, will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Pam Morgan officiating.
