Graveside services for Betty Cunningham of Ash Flat, AR, formerly of Norfork, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Galatia Cemetery, with Brother Bill Hellums officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Wednesday at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Betty died Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 76. She was born Saturday, April 1, 1933 in Leachville, Arkansas, daughter of George and Martha Wyckoff Crabtree. She married Joe Cunningham on April 13, 1953 at Lake City, Arkansas. After working at Mar-Bax Shirt Factory for 10 years, and retired from Baxter Lab after 23 years. Betty is a lifetime resident of Arkansas.
Betty Cunningham is survived by her husband, Joe Cunningham and 2 sons, Doug Cunningham of Norfork, AR and Dennis (Amanda) Cunningham of Greenfield, IA, 1 daughter, Sandy (Lonnie) Foster of Ash Flat, AR, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Wilma Baker of Monette, AR and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 5 brothers and 2 grandsons.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas with Brian Cunningham, Doug Cunningham, Lonnie Foster, Daniel Cunningham, Dennis Cunningham and Jimmy Light as pallbearers, Jack Foster and Justin Peter as honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
