She married Ed Fischer on May 9, 1953 at Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker and lived in Gassville for 11 years moving from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: Betty Fischer is survived by her husband, Ed Fischer and 1 son, Gerald (Beth) Fischer of Russellville, AR, 5 grandchildren, Colleen, Becky, Tina, Sarah and Gerald Jr.,11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Donald (1999) and 2 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M Saturday at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral: Services for Betty Cora Fischer of Gassville, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Honorary Bearers: The Transportation Department of the Mountain Home School District as honorary pallbearers. Active Bearers: Robert Bushey, Henry Hubbard, Al Ing, Martin Bauman, Jesse Soapes and Arvil Kelley as pallbearers.
