Graveside services for Betty Gene Foran, 76, of Flippin, Arkansas, will be 12:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Flippin Cemetery, with Trent Alexander officiating.
Betty died October 4, 2011. She was born May 16, 1935, in Grand Tower, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Iva Ellis Cooper. She worked as an LPN and lived in Flippin since 2002, moving from Eldon, Missouri. She made jewelry, painted and crocheted.
Betty is survived by 2 daughters, Denise (Gary) Stephens of Oakland, AR and Dana (Tim) Schmiedeke of Bellville, IL; 2 sisters, Janet (Don) Kessles of Kaiser, MO and Cheryl (Sean) Malone of Maplewood, MO; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
