Betty Jane

Betty Jane Lee (Hemm), 81, of Mountain Home, formerly of Cambridge, Illinois, went to be with our Lord on February 19, 2008 from the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Betty enjoyed eating out, working puzzle books, crocheting and was the best cook in the world. She enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking for her family and loved being around little children. She moved here in 1984 from Cambridge, Illinois and was a member of the Moline Full Gospel Church in Illinois and Emmanuel Church in Mountain Home. Survivors: She is the beloved wife of Charles Howard Lee of 66 years and cherished mother of Doris Michaels of East Moline, Illinois, Charles R. Lee (Cindy) of Mountain Home, and Charles J. Lee, of Midway, Arkansas, grandmother of; Charles R. Lee, Jr. (Christine), Jennifer Haught (Ernie), Richard Lee (Michelle), Jim Michaels, Jodie Callaway (Matt), Jolene Freeman and Julie Michaels. She has18 great-grandchildren, 2 of whom are deceased. She is sister to, Darlene Hemm of Orlando, Florida, Bertha Brokaw of Colona, Illinois and Alma Mills of East Moline, Illinois Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents Mervin C. Hemm and Lula Valley Hemm (Clark), sisters Mary Lou Beechamp and Margaret Similar and brothers, John, Claude, Arthur, Leo and Mervin Jr. all of the Quad-City area in Illinois. Visitation: Visitation will be Thursday, 5-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Funeral: The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Church at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 22, 2008 with Pastor Jerrel Venable officiating.
