Betty Loose

Betty Jo Loose was born August 9, 1926 at Tampa, Florida to Homer and Nola Carter Turner. She married Robert J. Loose on September 21, 1946 at Cleveland, Ohio and worked as an operator for Illinois Bell Telephone. They moved to Mountain Home in 1981 from Rockford, Illinois. Betty was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Loyal Order of River Rats. She passed away at the Gassville Nursing Center on July 28, 2007 at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 19 days. Survivors: Betty J. Loose is survived by one son Terry A. (Donna) Loose of San Jose, California and two grandsons: Brian Todd Loose and Alan Ryan Loose. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and two brothers. Funeral: A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Hofer officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Memorials: Activities department of the Gassville Nursing Center.
