A Funeral Service for Betty J. Melvin, 85, of Lakeview, Arkansas formerly of Chicago, Illinois will be 11AM Friday April 26, 2013, at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Chicago, IL. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Thursday April 25, 2013, at Brady-Gill Funeral Home in Evergreen Park, IL.
Betty J. Melvin was born August 27, 1927 to Stanley and Caroline Dirkis. She worked as a bookkeeper at Revere Printing.
Betty is survived by her two sons Michael Melvin (Edythe) of Reno, NV and David Melvin of Lakeview, AR; daughter-in ?law, Diane Melvin of Chicago, IL; and grandchildren, John, Jennifer, and Joseph Melvin of Chicago, IL and Elizabeth Melvin of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Edward Patrick and Steven James Melvin.
