Betty J. Mentlewicz, 89, of Lakeview, AR died June 3, 2015 in Flippin, AR. Inurnment will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Betty was born August 27, 1925 at Chicago, IL to Harold and Ethel Walker Swanson. She married Roman Mentlewicz on January 20, 1967. Betty worked as assistant manager for Illinois Bell Telephone Company. Betty was a longtime resident of Lakeview, AR moving here from Illinois in 1982. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star, Loyal Order of Moose, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles.
Her son, John Grossmann of Lakeview, AR, survives Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
