A Funeral Service for Betty Jane Morris of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Monday, April 16, 2018, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Richard Crawford officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2018, from 9:00 am until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Betty passed away April 11, 2018, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was born May 24, 1926, in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of A.F. and Alma McCracken Kerr. She married Donald Morris in Perryton, Texas and was a secretary. Betty lived in Mountain Home since moving from Atlantic, Iowa. She was a member of the Rivercliff Golf Course, Lakeview Community Club, and East Side Baptist Church. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening.
Betty is survived by her son, Dennis (Brenda) Ryan of Heflin, LA; two daughters, Carla (Jim) McGowen of Aurora, CO, and Shellee (Steve) Reinisch of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be the East Side Baptist Deacons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Randy Gonten Sunday School Class and the Lakeview Birthday Club.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
