Betty Joan Dorothy Perrin of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away August 2, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born March 20, 1936, in Tulare, South Dakota, the daughter of Elmer and LaVina Reid Broetzmann. Betty was a loving and giving soul who always had positive things to say about her friends and family. She was raised as a preacher's kid and loved to list the many states where she had lived. Betty had an eclectic career that included medical administration , owning and operating the MarMar Resort in Bull Shoals with her loving spouse, Troy Perrin, writing articles for the Baxter Bulletin and her final career that so many people knew her for was selling real estate. She gave her all to everything she did and blessed many people as she traveled through this life. Betty was a loving a supportive mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Cindy Perrin of Flippin, AR; grandson, Jonathon Perrin of Flippin, AR and great-grandson, Joel Edgar of Milwaukee, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
A Graveside Service for Betty will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Newton Flat Cemetery, with Reverend Heith Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals, AR. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
