A Memorial Service for Betty Eileen Pfeifer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Shane Milner officiating.
Betty passed away January 2, 2012, in Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 76. She was born February 4, 1935, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Williams Burton. She married Louis Pfeifer on November 24, 1962, at Dolton, Il. Betty lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1977 moving from Dolton, Ill. She and her husband "Pete" owned and operated the Quarry Marina for 15 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Church.
Betty is survived by Her husband, 3 sons: Mark Pfeifer of Mountain Home, Mike Pfiefer of Dyer, IN , and Ron (Lynn) Pfeifer of Dyer, IN., one daughter; Deborah Snooks of Itasca, IL., 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Fellowship Church .
