Betty Runion

Betty Jean Runion was born June 26, 1922 in Morris, Illinois, to Russell T. and Mable Agnes Cassill Cryer. She married the late Wilmer C. Runion on December 14, 1962 in Morris, Illinois. Betty Runion graduated from Morris Hospital School of Nursing and was employed as a nurse until she retired. She moved from Peoria, Illinois to Mountain Home, Arkansas in September of 1975. Mrs. Runion enjoyed bowling, gardening, stamp collecting, painting and singing and was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Betty Jean Runion passed away at the Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of eighty-two years, five months and twenty-eight days. Survivors: Her daughter, Donna Lee Sharpe of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Jodi Devall and Todd Sharpe of Mountain Home and Thea Sharpe of Springfield, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Devin and Dillan Rowden and Russell Sharpe; and several nieces and nephews Preceded in Death by: Her parents, husband and one brother Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 27 Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
