Betty Woods

Services for Betty Mae Woods, 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Betty passed away March 17, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born September 17, 1932, in Maitland, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar and Ada Atkins Hendrix. She married James Woods on April 8, 1951, at Mound City, Missouri. Betty lived in Mountain Home since 1999, moving from Camdenton, Missouri. Betty enjoyed reading and working with flowers. Betty is survived by her husband James Woods as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the Baxter House. The family would like to express their appreciation towards the staff of Baxter House and the Hospice House. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
