Beverly Jones passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 76. Beverly Jones was born Wednesday, February 24, 1932 in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of George William and Marguerite Kathryn Batson Gambrel. Product of her first marriage to James Lee Otto of Ramsey, IL in 1953 are her 5 children; Laurie Ann (Robert) Dorsey of Moweaqua, IL, Bryan Lee (Elizabeth) Otto of Leland, NC, Murray Gambrel (Debbie) Otto of Illiopolis, IL, Winona Kathryn (Mark Hadley) Lewis of Mt. Zion, IL and Cindy Lou (Dan) Underwood of Mt. Zion, IL. She married Burley Jones on April 9, 1977 at Cotter, Arkansas and worked as an assembler for the Hi-Flyer Kite Factory. Beverly lived in Mountain Home since 1989 moving from Rogers, Arkansas. She was a Chicago Cubs Fan, loving mother and sister. She loved working with flowers and gardening. Survivors: She is also survived by her brother, Fred Gambrel of Kent, WA, 2 sisters, Winona F. (Chuck) Cissna of Phoenix, AZ, and Susie (Augie) Lopez of Gasquet, CA, 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Jones, parents and 3 brothers. Funeral: Graveside Services for Beverly Ann Otto Jones of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial: Burial will be in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, Decator, Illinois. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks, or Snuggles for the Soul. Honorary Bearers: Murray Otto, Charlie Otto, Mark Hadley, Dan Underwood, Ryan Dorsey, Robert Dorsey, Kevin Lewis and Andrew Lewis as honorary pallbearers.
