Beverly Ann McGinnis, age 74, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
Beverly was born on November 3rd, 1946 in Toronto Ontario, Canada to Raymond and Lillian (Shipley) MacKillop. She studied Theology at Central Bible College from 1965 to 1970 before going on to teach English for a short time until she married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Joseph McGinnis, on September 25th of 1971 and eventually became a loving mother and homemaker to seven children, grandmother
to fifteen children, and several great-grandchildren.
Beverly was a light and an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was a Proverbs 31 woman through and through. Her life modeled James 1:12: “Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love him.” She transitioned to heaven with all five of her remaining children by her side.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Marie, her son, Juel David, and her husband, Bob.
She is survived by her five children, Brooks (Heather) McGinnis, Rodney (Deborah) McGinnis, Marika (Clay) Patterson, Ryan McGinnis, and Andrea (Dustin) Drollinger, her siblings, Betty (Roger) Sylvestre and Raymond (Brenda) MacKillop, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 pm, January 9, 2021, at The Table Community Church in Mountain Home. Donations can be made to St Jude Hospital for Ovarian Cancer Research.
