Beverly Sue Knight Quick

December 29, 1946 — July 19, 2022

Beverly Sue Knight Quick of Mountain Home, Arkansas, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born December 29, 1946, at the Rollins Hospital in Gassville, Arkansas, the daughter of Louis and Margie Casteel Knight. She began her career at Yelcot Telephone Company in 1975 where she remained through multiple acquisitions and retired as the Retail Sales Supervisor for Suddenlink Communications where she had worked for forty-one years. She was a lifelong United Methodist, a member of the First United Methodist Church and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was passionate about politics and sports watching hours of tennis, basketball and Rachel Maddow. Her love for her family, loyalty to her friends and her role as mother and best friend to Jeff were the centerpieces in her life.

The family wishes to thank Jo Lynn Robert, LaNell Langston and Jose Corpus who represent the outstanding team of doctors, nurses and staff at Baxter Regional Medical Center who cared for Beverly over the past several years.

Beverly is survived by her son, Jeff (Tom Kiley) Quick of Mountain Home, AR; niece, Heather (Chris) Loftis and their children Mia and Zane; sister Betty (John) Luther; brother Tommy (Brenda) Knight; brother Gordon (Beth) Knight; sisters-in-law Linda Knight and Janice Knight; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Margie Knight; and her brothers Bob, Neil, Lynn and Wilford Knight.

A Celebration of Life for Beverly will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home, with Reverend Daniel Thueson and Doctor Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service, at the church. Pallbearers will be Tom Kiley, Paul Luther, Keith Knight, Greg Knight, Chris Knight, Chris Loftis, Jonathan Hagerman, Kevin Plumlee and Aaron Knight.
