Beverly Spaulding of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away March 17, 2023, in Yellville, Arkansas at the age of 77. She was born October 24, 1945, in Torrance, California, the daughter of Alvin and Beulah Brenneman. Beverly graduated high school in 1963 and the day after graduation she flew to Germany to marry the soldier that stole her heart, Buddy L. Spaulding. While stationed in Germany, they had two children before returning to the United States. In the mid 70's, Beverly began work for Army Air Force Exchange Services in the PX's on base. In her 40's, she went to college and got her Bachelor's degree to further her career with the Army Air Force Exchange Services. Beverly's career took her into transportation tracking, in both trucks and ships, that brought goods around the world to our military bases until she retired in 2007. Beverly and Buddy moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2008 after they both retired. Beverly had many passions in life such as quilting and working in her gardens. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and as an Army wife, she would make platters of cookies of all different kinds giving them out to the soldiers so that they had something special and homemade for the holidays. Her love for the people and delivering platters grew to a list of friends, family and then to a special business here in Mountain Home. She truly was the cookie lady!
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Renata (Joe) Williams of Mountain Home, AR; a sister, Barbara Cacy; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Michael Spaulding and her parents.
Funeral Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
