Billie Humphrey

Billie Williams Humphrey of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 26, 2024, at Baxter Health after a long illness, at the age of 93. She was born January 7, 1931, in Yellville, Arkansas, the daughter of Bill and Beulah Callahan Williams. Billie was employed at Boeing A/C where she lived in Wichita, Kansas in the early 1950's. She returned to Mountain Home in 1972 where she worked as a hostess for 8 years at Geo's Restaurant. Later, she worked as a clerk for several years at Ponder's Drug. Billie married Junior Humphrey on March 12, 1991, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Billie and Junior were members of Mountain Home First Assembly of God and leaders of the Prime Timer's group. Together, the couple enjoyed fishing and camping.

Billie is survived by her two stepdaughters, Patsy Carroll, and Velma Jones; cousin, Freda Cantrell; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, and her parents. 

A Funeral Service for Billie will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tim Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Yellville, Arkansas.
