Billie Wood

Graveside Services for Billie Jean Wood of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Oakland Cemetery, with Pastor Leslie Damon, granddaughter, officiating. Billie passed away October 30, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born April 3, 1926, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond and Cecile Grant Huskey. She married Charles Wood on March 1, 1946, at East Saint Louis, Illinois and was a homemaker. Billie lived in Mountain Home, since 1998 moving from Belleville, Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, and loved flowers and her yard. Billie is survived by her two daughters, Deborah L. Wood of Mountain Home, AR and Marsha J. (Jay) Lanning of Mountain Home, AR, two sons, Charles R. (Linda) Wood of Waterloo, IL, and Ronald E. (Sue) Wood of Smithton, IL, one brother, Shelby Huskey of CA, one sister, Norma Lee Reeves of Granite City, MO, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and Dude. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
