Bobby Willson

Bobby Wilson passed away February 12, 2009 at Baxter County Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. He born July 11, 1934 in Bartlelsville, Oklahoma and was the son of Gilbert and Pearl Wilson. He received his degree from Oklahoma State University. Bobby and Elizabeth Wilson were married April 3, 1981 in Luckenbach, Texas and were married for twenty years. Bobby worked as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer for 35 years. Some of the places he worked were the Great Plains Coal Gassification Plant in North Dakota, NASA Space Center in Houston,Texas, Brown and Root, Flour Daniels, Bechtal, Salem and Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. He was an active member in the Lions Club and was the Charter President of the Flippin Lions Club since it's inception. He was a longtime member of the Spring Branch Non-Denominational Church in Houston, Texas and attended the Methodist Church in Bull Shoals and Mountain Home. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Wilson of Bull Shoals, AR, three sons, Paul Peveto (Belinda) of Mountain Home, AR, Kenneth Peveto (Cindy) of Bull Shoals, AR and Ricky Peveto (Debbie) of Lufkin, TX, three daughters, Ellen Jo of Tulsa, OK, Cheryl Lynn Wilson (Kelley) of Tulsa, OK and Kymberli Wilson of Cape Gerardeau, MO, many grandchildren, Michelle and Jamie Peveto both of Bull Shoals, AR, James Ray Peveto of Oakland, AR, Christina Peveto of Mountain Home, Jennifer Peveto of Lufkin, TX, Ricky Peveto,Jr. of Lufkin, TX, many other grandchildren in Texas and Oklahoma and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation: Visitation will be 4-7PM Monday evening at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Bobby Gene Wilson, III, of Bull Shoals will be 2:00 P.M. , Tuesday February 17, 2009 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals. Burial: Burial will be in Newton Flat Cemetery, Bull Shoals, AR. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Flippin Lions Club. Active Bearers: Paul Peveto, Kenneth Peveto, Richy Peveto, James Ray Peveto, Jerry McCurry and Derrick Foster as pallbearers.
