Services for Bonnie Phyllis Kamis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date at the Modell Funeral Home in Darien, Illinois.
Bonnie passed away April 11, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 71. She was born September 1, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of George and Florence Dudek Rumishek. She married John Kamis, Sr. on January 30, 1960, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as an executive secretary for McDonald's Corporation. Bonnie lived in Mountain Home, since March 1, 2011, moving from Downers Grove, Illinois. She enjoyed watching all kinds of sports and fishing.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, John Kamis, Sr. of Mountain Home, AR, son, Richard (Denise) Kamis of Joliet, IL, daughter, Karyn (Scott) Carroll of Plainfield, IL, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and sister, Diane (Gaylord) Kamis of Plano, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Kamis, Jr. and sister, Nancy Zebic.
Memorials may be made to North Central Arkansas Humane Society.
