Bonnie Rogers

Bonnie L. Rogers was born January 16, 1920 in Preston, Oklahoma. She was the daugher of George W. and Alberta Lou Westmoreland Hudson. Bonnie Rogers served with the United States Army Nursing Corps during World War II. She attended School of the Ozarks for her nursing degree. She was also a graduate of Prebysterian School of Christian Education and volunteered for medical missions. She moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Memphis, Tennessee in 1986 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Bonnie L. Rogers passed away at Gassville Nursing Center on October 26, 2005 at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 10 days. Survivors: Son, John C. Roges of Memphis, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews, including Jeanie Douglas of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Kathryn Surfus of Moscow, Idaho, and nephew, Charlie Smith of Flippin, Arkansas. Preceded in Death by: her parents, two brothers and one sister Visitation: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005, until service time Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Satuday, October 29, 2005 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harvey Seehusen officiating.
