Brian Lee Doherty

Brian Lee Doherty of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away August 27, 2021, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 48. He was born March 12, 1973, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Donnie and Barbara Harmon Doherty. He worked as a Manager for McDonald’s (Gassville). He enjoyed floating the river, tossing back a few beers, loved his dog, Izzy, watching boxing matches and hanging out with his friends.

Brian is survived by his mother, Barbara Flippin, daughters, Bethany Parker and Paisley Davis, sisters, Melanie Grayham and Emily Flippin, step-brothers, Doug and Michael Flippin,many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his; father, Donnie Lloyd Doherty, step-father, Russell Lee Flippin, and grandmother, Laverne Emery.

Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service for Brian will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ronnie Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Gassville Cemetery, September 3, 2021, with Blanton Chapman, Armando Valentin, Travis Martin, James Eaton, Sampson Gillam, and Chris Cross as pallbearers, and Levi Patrick, Scottie Harmon and Doug Flippin as honorary pallbearers. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
