Brian Rantanen

Memorial services for Brian R. Rantanen of Gamaliel, AR, will be Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2009 at Brainard Funeral Home Chapel, Wausau, Wisconsin. Brian died Monday, October 19, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 57. He was born Tuesday, September 9, 1952 in Bessemer, Michigan, the son of Harold and Eileen Kivi Rantanen. Brian lived in Gamaliel for eight months moving from Eagle River, Wisconsin. He loved to fish. Brian Rantanen is survived by his mother, Eileen Rantanen of Wausau, WI, son, Chadwick Rantanen of Culver City, CA, daughter, Abby (Chad) Sauter of Rothschild, WI, 3 sisters, Kim (Dean) Rantenen of Wausau, WI, Julie (Bruce) Stieber of Wausau, WI and Lynn Cole of Green Bay, WI, and the mother of his children Kim Rantanen of Wausau, WI. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorials may be made to the Charity of Choice. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
