Brian Redden Thorn

A Funeral Service for Brian Redden Thorn of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at First Assembly of God Church, with Reverend Mike Howell officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2016, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Brian passed away October 27, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 48. He was born December 4, 1967, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the son of Clyde Thorn and Mara Fisk. He married Kristy Hite on October 6, 2010, at Mountain Home and worked as a maintenance aid for Arkansas State Highway Department. Brian was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home. He was a member and coach for the Arkansas Tornados and Twin Lakers Basketball Team. He enjoyed NASCAR and antiquing.

Brian is survived by his wife, Kristy Thorn of Mountain Home, AR; two daughters, Samantha (Jamie) Ray of Fayetteville, AR and Summer Renee Thorn of Batesville, AR; two sons, Bob Pollard of Mountain Home, AR and Tyler Pollard of Mountain Home, AR; father, Clyde (Robyn) Thorn of Mountain Home, AR; grandsons, Parker and Linc Pollard and two brothers, Evin (Kathy) Thorn of Mountain Home, AR and Kalen (Danielle) Thorn of Fayetteville, AR.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents and grandson, Jace Pollard.

Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Evin Thorn, Kalen Thorn, Jason Hite, Jamie Ray, Eddie Elliott, Tommy Feliccia, Scott Hite and Dylan Connolly as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Arkansas Tornados and Twin Lakers Basketball Team.
