Bruce Baker

Bruce Baker died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 55. He was born Thursday, May 28, 1953 in St. Joe, Michigan, the son of Arthur and Pelma Sliter Baker. He worked as a carpenter for Smith Construction and lived in Mountain Home since 1980 moving from Coloma, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was hard working and enjoyed being with friends and family. Survivors: Bruce Baker is survived by his longtime companion, LuAnn Richards of Mountain Home, AR and her daughter Summer Jones of Texas, father, Arthur (Hazel) Baker of Mountain Home, AR. brother, Bob Baker of Lakeview, AR, daughter, Holly Jo (Dan) Dent of Oregon, WI, 2 Step-sisters, Donna (Ronnie) Smith of Mountain Home, AR and Shirley (Russell) Prior of Damascas, AR, Step-brother, E.T. Crawford of Mountian Home, AR, 5 grandchildren, Cody, Chris, Grace, Hunter and Gavin, nephews, Billy, Tommy and Joey. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral: Memorial services for Bruce E. "Bush" Baker of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 21, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jon Gilbert officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
