He died February 12, 2011 at Mountain Home, at age 48. Carl was born July 29, 1962 in Des Moines, IA, son of Carl and JoAnn Shelton. He worked as a laborer in the sawmill industry. Carl lived in Yellville since 1975, moving from Des Moines, IA.
Carl is survived by parents, Carl and JoAnn Shelton, of Harrison, brothers; Ryan, Robby, Jimmy, and Randy Shelton, sister, Karla Davis.
