Carland Starkey

Wayne Starkey was born December 16, 1959 at Harrison, Arkansas to Bill and Jean Bailey Starkey. He married Angela Litty and was an Army veteran and truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, fishing, and horses. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: Wayne Starkey is survived by stepson, Tony Hartsell of Greenville, South Carolina; stepdaughter, Trudy Murray of Greenville, South Carolina; grandson, Parker Murray; father, Bill Starkey of Mountain Home, Ar., two sisters - Denise (Randy) Pizzimenti of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Vickie (Mike) Dilbeck of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; and six nieces and nephews, Darren and Lee Davis, Casey and Crystal Dilbeck, Tiffany and Tina Pizzimenti. Preceded in Death by: He is preceded in death by his mother, wife and son. Visitation: Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Wayne Starkey, 46, of Greer, South Carolina (formerly of Mouuntain Home) will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Wayne Starkey died Saturday, June 10, 2006 in South Carolina. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Darren Davis, Lee Davis, Casey Dilbeck, Jeff White, James White and Paul Norell as pallbearers. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Twin Lakes Baptist Church Hope Center.
