Funeral Services for Carol June Holder of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Mountain Home Baptist Church, with Brother Tommy Cunningham and Brother Bill Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Carol joined the Lord peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the age of 71. Carol was born November 14, 1939 in Bakersfield, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Ida White Stone Hayes. She married Charles Holder on October 12, 1964 at Alamogordo, New Mexico. Carol lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1997 moving from League City, Texas. She was a very active member and former secretary for the Mountain Home Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing on the White River with her husband. Carol is survived by her husband, Charles Holder of Mountain Home, AR; son, Matthew Holder of League City, TX; daughter, Susan Holder of San Angelo, TX and sister, Dorothy Anderson of Howards Ridge, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mountain Home Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
