Graveside services for Carol Ruth Palow of Lincolnton, North Carolina, formerly of Bull Shoals will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Hand Valley Cemetery, Flippin, Arkansas with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating. Carol died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Lincoln Nursing Center, Lincolnton, North Carolina at the age of 84. She was born April 7, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Otto H. and Eva Klutz Palow. Carol lived in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, since 1946 moving from Crystal Lake, Illinois, She then moved to Lincolnton, North Carolina to be with family. Carol is survived by her niece, Linda Townsend of Lincolnton, NC; 5 great nieces and nephews, Andy (Mari) Gabbani, Adriane (Brooke) Nemeth, Susan Estobar, Katie Kuhns and David (Linda) Townsend and great-great niece and nephew, Anna and Manny Estobar. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Evelyn Townsend and Lois MacLaughlin, 1 niece, Mary Gabbani and 1 nephew, Thomas Townsend. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Hospice and Pallative Care, Lincolnton, NC. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
