Carole Perdue

Carole A. Perdue was born November 19, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Henry and Edith Broughton Short. She married Patrick Perdue in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, November 4, 1971. She was a homemaker and member of Bull Shoals Fire Department Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church of Bull Shoals. She enjoyed her grandchildren and close friends, outdoor activities with her husband, puzzles, and reading. She was a resident of Bull Shoals, Arkansas since she moved from Illinois in 1970. Carole A. Perdue passed away December 31, 2005, at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 12 days. Survivors: Two sons, Jeffrey (Evonne) Perdue of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and John Perdue of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Patrick John and Zachary Scott Perdue; four sisters, Georgette (Sidney) Lawrence of Taylorville, Illinois, Vernalee Herman, of Taylorville, Illinois, Judy (Tom)(Marlow) Schlegel of Illinois and Linda (Roger) Jones of Illinois; four brothers, Floyd (Jill) Short of Illinois, Denny (Nancy) Fishel of Illinois, Mike (Becky) Fishel of Illinois and Tom (Karen) Fishel of Illinois; several nieces and nephews, including Kay Kramer and Tara Short of Illinois, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Preceded in Death by: Birth parents; adoptive parents, John and Margaret Rogers of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; husband, Pat; and three brothers Visitation: 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2005, Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel, Bull Shoals Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2006, Bull Shoals Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Backus officiating.
