Carolyn I. Cook

A Funeral Service for Carolyn Cook of Mountain Home, AR will be 10AM Wednesday March 26, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home with Brother Ron Davenport officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 5-8PM. Carolyn died March 22, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Carolyn, a Mountain Home native, was born August 2, 1950 to Walter Lee and Nellie Lance Yocom. She married the love of her life, Bob Cook, on June 19, 1965. Carolyn’s greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time outdoors, camping and swimming with her family. If there are garage sales in heaven, Carolyn is surely busy visiting each one.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Cook of Mountain Home, AR; sons, Ron (LaDawn) and Arlin Cook of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Janie (Heath) Davis of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Walter Lee Yocom, JR of Gassville, AR; sisters, Florence Sutherfield and Marcella Lee of Gassville, AR; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her parents and brother, Walter Keith Yocom preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Thacker Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cotter Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
