Carolyn Mae Crawford passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on January 6, 1947, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, the daughter of Goldman and Winnifred Davis Bray. Carolyn's life was marked by her dedication to education and faith. She married Hugh Eli Crawford on August 20, 1967, in Mountain Home and devoted her career to inspiring young minds as a math teacher. Her commitment extended beyond the classroom as an active member of the West Road Church of Christ, where she cherished her time with fellow church members.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Tabitha (Chris) Hall of Mountain Home, AR, and Maranda (Reza) Ghassimi of Norfork, AR; son, Justin (Joy) Crawford of Mountain Home, AR; five grandchildren, Faith (Preston) Lawson, Hailey Hall, Jace Hall, Mischa Crawford, and Josiah Crawford; and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Autumn, and Erik. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hugh Eli Crawford.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. In honor of Carolyn's legacy, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Home of Paragould (www.childrenshomes.org).
The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Carolyn's warmth and kindness will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
