Celesta passed away February 16, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born March 25, 1924, in Corning, Arkansas, the daughter of Jack and Gladys Alexander Griffin. She worked as a quality control inspector for the Papermate Corporation. Celesta lived in Mountain Home, since 2009, moving from Reno, Nevada.
Celesta is survived by her daughter, Eileen Walker of Mountain Home, AR, three sons, Eddie (Linda) Rice of Springfield, MO, Joseph (Kathy) Rice of Linden, MI, and Carl (Diane) Rice of Mountain Home, AR, ten grandchildren Dion, Shelly, Tonya, Ryan, Carl, Angie, Daniel, Alicia, Jodie, and Shelly, thirteen great-grandchildren, four sisters, Dean Christy of Palm Bay, FL, Maxine Williamson of Palm Bay, FL, Lossie (Mike) Pekrul of Palm Bay, FL, and Louise Elliot of Dexter, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Thelma Schmidt, and brother, James Griffin.
