Celia "Kitty" Gibson

Funeral Services for Celia "Kitty" Gibson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 1:00 P.M., Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the funeral home.

Kitty passed away February 17, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. She was born October 12, 1933, in Mountain Home, the daughter of Noah and Willie Marie Pyeatt. She was a homemaker and long term resident of Mountain Home. She enjoyed her family, dancing and friends. She was a very tenacious person all thru her life.

Kitty is survived by her son, Larry (Dorry) Harris of Henderson, AR; two daughters, Janet (George) Beltran of Sacramento, CA and Patricia Harris of Ava, MO; eight grandchildren, Maria Rodriquez, George Jr. Beltran, Angel Harris, Cassie Jones, Bethany Carewell, Jessie Davis and Jonathan Harris, Angela Turner; six great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Xavier Rodriguez, Anna, Austin, Andrew Harris and Aleah Bates, and her special friend, Bud Schwartz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Rufus Gibson and Jonathon Harris; sister, Dorothy Friend and brother, Pete Pyeatt.

Burial will be in the Custer Herron Cemetery with George Beltran, Jonathan Harris, Austin Harris, Richard Pyeatt, Jackie Friend and Zack Jones as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
