Chandler Felker

Memorial Services for Chandler J. Felker of Mountain Home, AR, will be 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2009 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Reverend Larry Olson officiating. Chandler Felker died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 82. Mr. Felker was born Thursday, February 24, 1927 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, son of George and Anna Ruhl Felker. He married Susan Penzenstadler on March 6, 1948 in Oshkosh, WI. He worked for Kimberly Clark. Chandler Felker was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Felker lived in Mountain Home for 18 years moving from Neenah, Wisconsin. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking. Chandler Felker is survived by his wife, Susan Felker and his children: Ellen (Gene) Orsburne of Cottage Grove, WI, Peggy (Wayne) Beattie, of Menasha, WI, Catherine Ballard of Oshkosh, WI, Peter Felker of Neenah, WI, Brother, Henry (Eleanore) Felker of Oshkosh, WI, Sister, Lorraine Leitl of Oshkosh, WI, 2 grandchildren, Paul and Justine, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roland, and sister, Ann. Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
