Charles Atkinson died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in Mountain Home. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Friday, October 12 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home. He was 71. Charles W. Atkinson was born October 30, 1935 in Vivian, Lousianna, Son of Troy Eugene and Bonnie McKeever Atkinson . He married Betty Jo Almand on June 6, 1956 at Shreveport, Lousianna. He worked as a Restaurateur. Charles Atkinson was an Army veteran. Mr. Atkinson lived in Mountain Home for 32 years moving from Shreveport, Lousianna in 1975. He was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church . Mr. Atkinson loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking walks with his wife Betty Jo. Preceded in Death by: parents Visitation: Friday, 5:00 to 8:00 Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the Mountain Home Baptist Church with Dr. Thomas Cunningham, Dr. David Johnson and Revernd Bill Hughes officiating.
