A Funeral Service for Charles E. Cosner of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 12:00 pm until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Charles passed away December 22, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 92. He was born September 8, 1925, in Wildell, West Virginia, the son of Elsworth and Glenna Cosner. He married Dorothy Sramek on January 23, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois and worked as a Vending Company Manager. Charles was a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII. He lived in Mountain Home since 1993, moving from Wisconsin. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, feeding birds and hunting.
Charles is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Cosner, of Elburn, IL and Carol (Jim) Machajewski, of Janesville, WI; son, Charlie (Cheryl) Cosner of Romeoville, IL; four grandchildren, Dawn O'Neill, Larry Bergquist, Morgan Machajewski, Erin Cosner and great-granddaughter, Kasidy Machajewski.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
