Charles Fenton died Thursday, February 19, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 87. He was born Friday, September 30, 1921 in Griffithville, the son of William A. and Linnie Pence Fenton. He married Marjorie J. Hill on November 8, 1947 at Wilmette, Illinois and was owner and operator of C&C Windoware. Charles Fenton was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and lived in Mountain Home since 1963 moving from Morton Grove, Illinois. He was a member of Alley White American Legion Post # 52. Survivors: Charles Fenton is survived by step-daughter, Phyllis (Rex) Lundberg of Las Vegas, NV, 7 nieces and nephews, Donna (Jim) Phillips of Cary, IL, Kay (Steve) Jarrell of Phoenix, AZ, Kim (Randy) Notz of Elk Grove Village, IL, Pam (Terry) Little of Indianapolis, IN, Robert "Dino" (Karen) Fenton of Grayslake, IL, Sheila (Gene) Vanderford of Hoffman Estates, IL and Al (Tonice) Fenton of Plymouth, IN, many grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Leonard and one sister, Leone. Visitation: Visitation for Charles William Fenton of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be from 4-7 P.M., Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, AR. Funeral: Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Dogwood Church, Griffithville, AR with Brother Bill Wise officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery, Griffithville, Arkansas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Society, 300 Good Samaritan Dr.,Mountain Home, AR 72653 or Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Dr., Mountain Home, AR 71653.
