Charles Grieshaber

Charles James Grieshaber was born September 9, 1921 in Weingarten, Missouri. He was the son of George and Ada Wallen Grieshaber. He joined the United States Army in 1946 and served as an automotive mechanic in Japan during World War II. He married Berdina Meksch, September 16, 1949, in Ogden, Utah. He worked as a structural ironworker through Ironworker Union # 1 of Chicago and was a union member for fifty plus years. He was a fifty year member of the McKinley Masonic Lodge in Merriville, Indiana and a member of The Scottish Rites, the Orok Shrine and the Hobart Indiana Order of Eastern Star #314. He was the past president of the East Gary Scottish Rites Club and vice president of the Hobart Shrine Club. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in July 1985 from Hobart Indiana, and was of the Baptist faith. Charles James Grieshaber passed away May 23, 2006 at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 14 days. Survivors: His wife, Berdina Grieshaber of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Dr. Larry (Marilyn) Grieshaber of St. Louis, Missouri and Dr. Terry Grieshaber of Kirklin, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Calvin and Emily Grieshaber Preceded in Death by: His parents, three brothers and one sister Funeral: A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Farmington, Missouri.
