Charles F Hamilton of Houston, Texas passed away November 2, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born September 15, 1940, in Paris, Texas, the son of Lucille Hamilton. He married Barbara Kidney on June 27,1981 in Houston, Texas and worked as a Chemical Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a lifetime devoted member of the Church of Christ and taught Sunday School and Wednesday night bible class, lead singing many Sundays and also was an active life group leader in the church. He was a devoted husband and father. He played guitar, was a gifted writer, and one could always count on him to have a story to tell. Most of all, he loved the Lord. He lived in Mountain Home since moving from Houston, in 2022.
Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara Hamilton of Mountain Home, AR; daughter Angela Dooley; sons, Todd and Mark Kidney; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Painter.
A Graveside Service for Charles will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Brother Ken Burton officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
