Charles Jones

Funeral services for Charles Edward Jones will be at Kirby and Family Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Remil Layton, officiating. Mr. Jones passed away in Mountain Home on December 30, 2010 at the age of 65. Visitation will be at Kirby Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00. Charles was born October 10, 1945 in Gassville, Arkansas the son of Joe Ewing and Ova Friend Jones. He was a US Air Force veteran, retired from the 224th Maintenance Co. of the Arkansas Army Nat'l Guard and retired as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by 1 Daughter, Shannon (Verlin) Cotter of Gamaliel, Arkansas; 3 Sons, Anthony (Ashley) Jones of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Aaron (Regina) Jones of Mountain Home and Robert (Whitney) Jones of Norfork; 1 Brother, Joe (Dolores) Jones of North Little Rock; 6 Grandchildren, Josh, Conner, Kali, Hunter, Kabe and Hadleigh; 1 Great Grandchild, Chloe. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Anthony Jones, Robert Jones, Gary Bullock, Jerry Tilley, Wayne Larson and Dean Smeenk as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Jones, Val Norville, Verlin Cotter, Oscar Chambers, Roy Chambers and Dave Jones.
