Charles Keturoskey of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away May 15, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. He was born February 7, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles and Katherine Jankovic Keturoskey. Chuck was a proud U.S. Army veteran. On December 1, 1962, he exchanged vows with Barbara Jagielski in Chicago, Illinois. Professionally, he served as a devoted letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. Chuck lived in Mountain Home since moving from Chicago, in 1992. He worked for the Baxter Bulletin for a short time after moving to Mountain Home. A devout member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Chuck was very active in sports and was fun, loving, and extremely personable. He couldn't go anywhere without running into someone he knew. Chuck will be fondly remembered for his kindness, dedication to family, and service to his country.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Barbara Keturoskey of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Mary (Gary) Frazin of Mountain Home, AR; son, Matthew Keturoskey of Mountain Home, AR; and five grandchildren, Christopher Frazin, Lindsey Frazin, Sage Frazin, Kyle Keturoskey, and Jacob Andersen. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Keturoskey; two brothers, Gene Keturoskey, and Phillip Keturoskey; and sister, Carol Cyganek.
Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service for Chuck will follow at 3:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Military Honors concluding. Graveside Services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at All Saints Cemetery, in Des Plaines, Illinois.
