Charles Lash was born August 23, 1918 at St. Clairsville, Ohio to Charles A. and Ellen K. Rinker Lash. He married Enid M. Young on July 10, 1955 at Florence, Arizona. Mr. Lash was a railroad trainman for Southern Pacific Railroad for 28 years before his retirement. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose in Arizona, and a member of United Transportation Union of El Paso. Charles Lash passed away on November 8, 2004 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 15 days. Survivors: his wife, Enid; step-daughter, Dorothy (Lloyd) Hollemon; sisters, Charlotte Grant and Patricia Moore of Ohio and Evelyn Cooper of Paragould, 5 nieces and 5 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 step-sons and niece, Ruth Ellen Seely of Ohio. Funeral: 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 12, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ludwig officiating. Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery
