Charles L. McDonald was born February 21, 1921 in Howard City, Michigan. He was the son of Warner and Carrie Bogardus McDonald. He served with the United States Army during World War II. He married Maxine J. Plath in Coral, Michigan on December 21, 1946. They made their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon his retirement from Kelvinator Corp in 1974, where he had been employed as a forklift driver, they moved to Midway, Arkansas. Charles L. McDonald, age 84 years, 4 months and 25 days, departed this life July 14, 2005 and is finally at peace, joining his beloved wife, Maxine, who preceded him in 1998. He will be sadly missed by the "gang" at Brenda's and all who gave support and care during his illness. Survivors: Nephew, Michael L.
