Charles died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 67. He was born June 14, 1943 in Germany, the son of George and Berta Ciernoch Rupnow. He married Deborah Lohman on August 6, 1985 at Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked as a Family Counselor for Service Corporation International. Charles Rupnow was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. Charles lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since October 31, 2003 moving from Cicero, Illinois. He was active in veteran?s activities and enjoyed traveling and fishing. He loved the country life.

Charles is survived by his wife, Deborah of the home; daughter, Debra (William) Funck of Rockford, IL; 2 sons, Christopher Rupnow of Chicago, IL and Michael Rupnow of Kalamazoo, MI; 3 grandchildren, Mary Ann, William and Lilyan Funck and 1 great-grandchild, Maximus Douglas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
